Materials
Forged aluminium body, replaceable high-carbon steel blade, hardened steel anvil-side hook, coil spring. 20mm cutting capacity in green wood — less in dead wood, and anyone who quotes one number for both is quoting the easy one.
Care
Wipe the sap off the blade after use; dried sap is what makes secateurs stiff, not rust. Sharpen the bevel side only, at the angle it came at, and never touch the flat side.
